VRDA Maafaru Airport Extends Runway - Update 2024

The second busiest international airport in Maldives has successfully completed the project carried out to extend its runway to cater to larger aircrafts. Maafaru International Airport in Noonu Atoll was closed for international traffic for the last 3 months for this work. After completing the runway extension works the airport is now back to full operation since October 2024.

Almost A VIP Lounge At Velana International Airport

Under our VIP airport service we handle arrival experience smoothly. Lounge service included in the package is available for maximum of 3 hours and we never reached that limit as transfer to resorts takes place quickly. But, departure experience is different. Even though occurrence is rare there are times guests have to wait more than 3 hours in airport. Check-in to lounge starts 3 hours ahead of international flight time.
